My brother and I have a running joke that I’m that guy to send unsolicited referral links all the time 😅. Hey if there is some software / service that’s working for me, I want that company to do well and help other people in their work and life! So, here are some shameless referral links that you can use too!
Disclaimer: I’m definitely not a certified financial person and this is not investment advice.

You need a budget. I’ve tried mint, quicken, and YNAB. This is the one that has stuck the best for my family and I with a home and two kiddos. Check it out

Robinhood has a really clean and easy to use UX. I’ve tried the more powerful platforms like ThinkorSwim, and this one is just easy to use and monitor. I only manage a small portfolio of savings here to experiment and make small, personal investments.

I discovered Wealthfront wayyy back in 2015 or so to start with a Roth IRA in my early teaching days (we had a pension but no other retirement account). They have a very competitive savings rate in their cash accounts too.
United MileagePlus Card: https://www.referyourchasecard.com/215n/NYV1I0F8V2 (They have aggressive sign up bonuses and I’ll get some too!)
Sapphire Reserve Card: https://www.referyourchasecard.com/19q/RSTQSW0VJS (60k points for you and I get some back too!)
We recently consolidated down to just these two cards to stack up our travel rewards for family trips. We live near a United hub airport, so that makes the most sense and then the Sapphire card gets us some perks when we want to book hotels or non-United flights.
